In accordance with the Notice of Yunnan Provincial Committee of CPC and the People’s Government of Yunnan Province on Issuing the “Proposals of the People’s Government of Yunnan Province on Implementation of Organizational Structure Reform, (Y.F. [2003] No. 20), the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Yunnan Provincial People’s Government (hereinafter referred to as “SASAC ”) was founded on February 28, 2004. Yunnan Provincial People’s Government has authorized SASAC to perform as provider of state assets on behalf of Yunnan Provincial People’s Government and to supervise provincial enterprises in preserving and increasing the value of their state-owned assets by law.

          As a major authority for supervision and control of state-owned assets, SASAC web site shall act in the spirit of the Sixteenth National Congress, and the Second and the Third Plenary Sessions of the Sixteenth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. Under the guidance of Deng Xiaoping’s theory and “Three Representatives” thought, SASAC web site shall build a new agency with new image and new ideas. SASAC web site shall offer supervision and administration over state-owned assets, and to publicize the policies, laws, regulations and rules related to the reform of state-owned enterprises in order to promote the successful development of provincial enterprises. With our web site as an information platform and e-government, the supervision and administration of state-owned assets in Yunnan shall be improved.

          We hope our web site shall be a bridge for information exchange and communication between provincial enterprises and all circles in the society.
